Comparison

Ettore vs Softland Pedidos IA for orders and quotes

Softland Pedidos IA is the AI order-intake module of Softland ERP: orders arrive by WhatsApp, email or file, a person approves them in a tray, and they go into Softland ERP. Ettore does a wider job on a different ERP. If you run Softland ERP and only need orders captured, the honest answer may be Softland’s own module.

What actually decides it.

Which ERP you run

Softland Pedidos IA exists to feed Softland ERP and names no other system. Ettore has no Softland ERP connector. If Softland ERP is your system, that one fact settles most of this page.

Whether quotes are part of the job

Distributors receive requests for quotes as well as purchase orders. Softland’s module handles the orders. Ettore drafts both: a priced quote with the customer’s own price list and other brands’ codes matched, or a sales order.

Where the requests come in

Softland reads WhatsApp directly, audio included. Ettore is built around the email inbox; WhatsApp reaches it only when your team forwards a message. If most of your orders are voice notes, that matters.

Both keep a person in charge

In Softland’s tray someone approves every request before it enters the ERP. Ettore’s default is the same. Autopilot is something you switch on for chosen request types, and only clean matches qualify.

Side by side.

Softland’s column comes from its Pedidos IA product page and its June 2025 announcement, as checked on 2 November 2026. We have not used it. Where its pages are silent we say so, which is not the same as the feature being absent. If a row is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Which one fits you.

Choose Softland Pedidos IA if

  • You run Softland ERP and want order intake from the vendor you already have
  • What you need is orders captured, not quotes drafted
  • Many orders arrive straight to WhatsApp, as text, audio or photos
  • You want no integration project with a third party

Choose Ettore if

  • You run Odoo, or SAP Business One or Dynamics and want the connector built for your setup
  • Quote requests are a large part of your inbox, not only orders
  • Customers write other brands’ codes and each one pays their own price list
  • Requests arrive mostly by email, with PDFs and spreadsheets attached

Questions about the comparison.

We use Softland ERP. Should we look at Ettore?

For order entry alone, probably not: Softland’s module is native and needs no connector, and Ettore has none for Softland ERP today. If quoting is your real bottleneck, tell us. Whether a connector can be built depends on what Softland ERP’s API allows, and we would rather look at it than guess.

Does Softland Pedidos IA handle quotes?

Not that we could find. Its product page and its announcement describe order intake into Softland ERP, and we found no quote workflow on them as of 2 November 2026. If that changes, we will update this page.

Can Ettore take orders from WhatsApp the way Softland does?

Only through your team. A rep forwards the customer’s message, PDF, spreadsheet or photo to your company’s number, and Ettore reads it like an email and asks in the chat which customer it is for. Customers do not write to Ettore on WhatsApp directly.

Where do the Softland facts on this page come from?

From Softland’s Pedidos IA product page and its article of 19 June 2025, read on 2 November 2026; the client figure is from Grupo Softland’s own “about us” page. We have not used the product.
